Description This is my dog that I lost a year ago. I have been trying to scrap her pic for awhile and just never can get past the crying part. I do not like how it came out, at all, but I just cannot do it again. Thankfully, Maggi said she will do one for me. But I did not want to throw this one away. So I will just have two of my beloved dog.
This is the hidden journaling. Sorry if it rambles, I started crying as I was typing and just left it the way it came out the first time. From the heart.
You were my best friend Daisy. It has been a year since I had to let you go and I can honestly say, I think of you everyday. You started out as my sister’s dog, but when she had to go to Korea, she asked if I would look after you. By the time she came back, you were mine, heart and soul. I had you for a glorious 13 years. You were with me through good times and bad. Always right by my side. One of your favorite things to do was go for car rides. The two of us would jump in the car and drive four hours. When you had just turned 10, you became diabetic. The vet said I could put you down. That was just not an option. I gave you shots twice a day and gave you special food. Thankfully, this gave me an extra 5 years.
Then things changed, as life often does and I did not give you the amount of attention you once had. First, there was George, then Ariel and then Cole. I became so busy, that you kind of got pushed to the side. My heart breaks thinking of that now. I so wish I still had you here. Letting you go was on of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I wish I would have known in advance, the morning of, that this was to be your last day. I would have made you a huge plate of pasta and taken you for a long car ride. Just the two of us. I thought typing this up would help, but instead I am sitting here crying uncontrollably. I still miss you. My beautiful little fox. God bless you and I hope I get to see you again someday. I miss you Daisy.
