Journaling reads:
Telling an almost three year old that he can have any pumpkin in the patch, was probably not one of your parent’s wisest moves. You walked around for about an hour picking up pumpkins one by one, and then putting them back down. We would ask you “Is that the one you want” and you would reply “No”. So more hunting we would do. Daddy and I have figured out you probably picked up between 30-35 pumpkins, before you finally found the one that was in your words, “my pumpkin”. To Daddy and me, it looked almost the same as about 20 others, you had picked and discarded but this was the ONE.
