One of the reasons I am glad that Daddy is military, is we always have new places to explore. Right now you are 5 and we are stationed in Colorado. In the summer of 2008 we took a short weekend trip to see the Great Sand Dunes. Being from FL I was not sure what to expect. I mean, I know sand, right? Wrong! It is truly hard to describe just how incredibly large these are. And they are set in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, so everywhere you look it is just an amazing view. You and Daddy were able to climb them quite easily...me, not so much. But I am working on it, little man. I promise, bu our next trip down there (you already made me promise to go back and bring your sled) I will be able to climb them all with you!
