Description
This layout was originally inspired by Lindsay's digital challenge (to use filters on at least one picture), but when I started putting it together it became my flowers entry.
The two pictures I used filters on are the two cropped into arch shapes. The one on the left is using the 5 down lighting effect filter in Photoshop Elements. The one on the right is using the flashlight lighting effect filter (same program). I've attached copies of the original pictures to show the difference.
I've used flowers as the e's in selfless, at the top of my "note to self" block, and underneath the vellum journaling there are 3 more flowers attached by brads, all Prima flowers.

photo corners (used to hold journaling) - Making Memories
lettering was done using Color Workshop stencils I found at KMart and chalk pencils (dark blue outline with baby blue & gray shaded inside)
word stickers - The A List by Destination Stickers (T & R sheets)
pen - Pentel & American Crafts Slick Writer

On vellum: My lovely young niece, always you are looking to give of yourself to others. It is a rare and precious quality to possess. So often I catch you with this pensive look - and it's so often followed by a sweet gesture.
