On our trip to NYC we went by Ground Zero. These pictures were taken a little over a year after 9/11. Although we had seen the devastation on television, it was incomprehensible until we saw it in person. The enormous crater in the ground and the damage to surrounding buildings was surreal. The site and the memorials to those who lost their lives touched our heart. This is a tribute to those heroic people of New York City. "We will never forget."Supplies:
