At five and two you have no idea who John McCain and Barack Obama are, but you know that Mommy was doing something very important - exercising her right to choose the next President of the United States. You proudly wear your I Voted stickers; I hope that as adults you are just as proud to do it yourself. So many people have fought for the right to vote that it is not just privilege, but a responsibility. You must participate in the direction your country is going - it is important to fight for your values. Be educated. Know where the candidates stand. Vote for those who match your beliefs not just who seems best. Pray - pray for who to vote for, pray for the voters, pray for the next president not matter who they end up being. I promise you that I will - not just for myself, but for you.
