Description My mother served in the USNR as an officer during the Korean War. She was one of the first women to go into the Navy as a directly commissioned officer. She had to resign her commission and from the inactive reserves when I was born. At that time women were not allowed to be both a mother and in the military. She helped paved the way for all of the women now serving.
The papers are by The Paper Studio. The flag embellishment is by Jolee's.
