Description

Photos of my gorgeous sister at her wedding just on June 6!

To extract photos, I used the Extraction tool in Photoshop. You'll find it under the "Filter" bar along the top. It's actually pretty easy to use... Select the marker tool and click on "smart highlighting". Draw around the area you want to extract, making sure not to leave any gaps. When you are done, then select the bucket tool and click on the centre of the area that you are extracting. It will fill with colour every where you have selected. Then, click extract. The image will open back in a regular working document, minus the background, ready for you to play with! I like to then go around the shape closely with the eraser, to tidy up any messy edges.

I've also used a blended photo, where I played with the opacity of the level, and used masks, as well.
