Our featured designer for this month is Kelli, of Tallula Moon Designs! Enjoy the fun Q&A below in addition to a peek at some of her latest and greatest products. 1) How long does it take you to design a kit, from start to finish?
It really depends on the kit. Most times I can have one done in 2 days or less if the creative juices are really flowing. Other times I get completely stuck. I actually have a kit right now that I've had in the works for a year and I just can't seem to get it finished. I completed my "Controlled Chaos" kit in 1 day and I thought that was pretty fast.

2) Which of your own products in your ACOT shoppe is your favorite?
I'd have to say my "From the Forest" kit. I love the colors and the felt style.

3) Do you have a favorite holiday tradition?
Baking! I'm nutso when I bake. My sugar cookies are all painted with paintbrushes on top of the icing. It's a little crazy but it's something I look forward to every year.

4) Do you like cherries? What is your favorite cherry treat?
I actually don't like cherries... well, the real off the trees cherries. I do like maraschino cherries though. If I had to pick a favorite cherry treat it would be these cookies that my mom makes. They are like a thumbprint cookie with a cherry baked into the middle and nuts on the outside. YUM!

5) What do you like about the winter season?
Nothing. Oh, wait.... I don't like going out to find my windows on my car frozen over but other than that, I love it all. I love the rain and the cold and being bundled up, the comfort foods, everything.

6) What is your favorite color to design with right now?
Chocolate Brown. I have no idea why though. It just seems that it's incorporated into pretty much every kit I do lately. I think it just blends well with almost any color and I use it lately as an alternative to black.

7) Can you give us a hint at an up and coming product that you are designing right now?
I'm actually just finishing one up called "So Cherry Good" which is pretty fitting for A Cherry On Top, I think.

Kelli's newest kits. Right Now is a sweet collection of florals, ribbons and vintage paper embellishments. Livin' the Camo Life is a unique commemoration to those serving in the military, with grungy, distressed papers, basic shapes and of course, with a little feminine touch thrown in. For fellow designers, one of Kelli's most creative products are the Jump Starts, providing a complete set of color swatch, styles and even a title lead.
