I started out by die-cutting the two largest stitched hearts with some white cardstock. Next, I picked some papers from the Hippty Hoppity 6x6 paper pad and die cut them with the same dies. I used some wet adhesive to adhere the white hearts and pattern paper hearts together. This is going to give me a thicker base for my pages.
I used my paper punch to punch holes in all the stitched heart pages and then added them to a binder ring. I like work on my pages while they are on a binder ring.
For the photo sizes in my album, I went with one that I use often when I create these mini albums. I made some photo mats for this photo size and added them to the pages. I used different embellishments from the Hippity Hoppity collection and embellished each page.
The photo size will be 1 3/4x 1 3/4 and I print my photos at home using a Canon TS5020 printer. I used the PicFrame app to create collages to get this smaller square photo size.
I used different sized foam adhesive to pop up the different elements in this mini-album. This gives the pages a lot of dimension and creates a really chunky album which I love. I also used some of the stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet from Hippity Hoppity and added them to the album. I sticker them to a piece of white cardstock and cut around the sticker. This gives a great place to add journaling or more photos to the back. I punch a hole in the sticker and add it to the binder ring.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you today to create something with the Doodlebug Design Hippity Hoppity collection! Have a great day!
