Holiday memories, winter fun and colorful creations!

This month's spotlight is bursting with yummy creations that start off our new year right. There is a great mix of our recent holiday memories, lots of winter fun and some very colorful creations including cards, layouts and even a mini album. We hope you all enjoy, I know the CT did when choosing the beautiful pieces of art.

was chosen by milmomma. Brittney just loves how magnificent and frosty these are. The card goes so well to match the house. The snow flakes and bows are so whimsical and awesome!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas (NOT) by scrappininAK

was chosen by SarahA. Sarah loved the fun, bright, non-traditional Christmas colors on this Christmas layout. The photo is eye catching, the design is perfect and that scalloped circle is too much fun!

was chosen by bluejeans7. Angela totally loves this mini album. I mean......here in "Cherry Land" how can you not? Love how Nancy mixes cherries, trees and flowers for her embellishments on all the pages.

was chosen by Kimandasmo. Cindy adores this layout by lorigentile. The mix of colors and layered circles is perfect. Very eye-catching. She also loves the touch of polka dots peeking in from behind and the stitching.

Snug as a Bug by sexypeanut

was chosen by ScrapGoo. Jess chose this layout because she is a sucker for round pages! The gorgeous photo is surrounded by delicate doily banners and perfectly distressed details. The warm color scheme is excellent and really adds to the "snug" feeling. Beautiful!

was chosen by nun69. Angie chose this LO because it is simply AMAZING! I LOVE the use of the large picture and her journaling tucked in behind the little card.

Captured Memories by scrapperatheart

Tree Trimmings by Ayla

was chosen by Art_Teacher. Laura M. loves the idea of this layout, showing favorite Christmas decorations and placing the photos in a tree shape makes it even better! All the embellishments are perfectly arranged as well.

Second, the colors that were used are great. She love the combination of a single color used along with black and white. Third, the journaling is heartfelt. It's a non traditional snow theme and really beautiful with all the snowflake elements and glitter. The clustering of the larger elements and the addition of the kangaroo photo is fantastic!
