July Cherry Box Cards

Hey everyone! Emily here today to show you 3 adorable cards I made using the July Cherry Box. This Cherry Box is full of outdoorsy Doodlebug fun, as well as an Alphabet stamp set & ink pad from Stamperia! If you love camping & the outdoors, this Cherry Box is for you!

I love the outdoors and nature, so I was really drawn to the tree & wood grain paper in this collection. This paper also has some great tags & sayings, as well as plently of greetings for cards! I immediately cut all the sayings out so I could see which ones I'd like to use.

For my first card, I decided to use the tree ephemera and cut the white edges off to make my own, taller tree. I used the wood grain paper to make the 'trunk'. I then embellished the trees with the flower sequins included in the box!

I chose the saying, "I just wanted to drop you a line" and added a little hook from the ephemera pack onto the end of the saying with some foam Cherry Tape. I also added some more ephemera trees to go with the pine tree feel, I glued one down and put the other on with some Cherry Dots to add some dimension between all the greens.

For the inside of this card, I decided to use the cabin ephemera (since that is on the front of the paper) with another saying that reads 'thinking of you'. I added some of the stars from the evergreen shape sprinkle stickers included in the box. I also put the saying on some more foam Cherry Tape to add a little lift. For the bottom half, I used one of the journaling cards so someone could write sentiments there and added some ephemera for the right side of the card.

For my second card, I decided to use the opposite side of this paper as the front (the wood grain). I chose the 'good luck on your new adventure' saying and also put that on with some more foam Cherry Tape. I am a firm believer that you can make great looking cards without the need for stamping or die cutting. These cards prove that! I used just the paper, ephemera, and some embellishments included in the box.

I decided to use some mountain ephemera for the background and glued those down. I then added the RV and butterfly on with some Cherry Dots to give the card some more dimension. For the inside of the card, I used one of the Journaling Cards and just glued it down! I added the sun ephemera with a Cherry Dot to give it some pop! I lined the right side of the card with some white cardstock so someone can add sentiments there.

This one was so fun & simple to make! I decided to make a gift tag with one of the tags that matches this card and reads "Adventure Awaits". On the back part that is left blank, I used the mini rub on letters to create a "to" & "from". I also took the compass from the Doodlepop & put it on the corner of the gift tag!

I love the font of those rub-ons! Perfect for a gift tag! I just used some chunky orange ribbon I had in my stash to go with the blue & orange theme I had going on with this card.

For my last card, I used the pine tree patterned paper which I love, and decided on a happy birthday card!

This paper perfectly matched the size of the Evergreen Shape Sprinkles that came in the box, so I added some of those on for dimension and a little pop! I added some of the flower sequins also for a little more color. I also wanted to use those adorable rub on's again, so I added 'to you' on some white cardstock and put that on the edge of my 'happy birthday'.

I cut the banner out and made it into more of a ribbon on the edge by cutting out a triangle and adhered it onto the front of the card with some foam Cherry Tape. I love the simplicity of these cards, but also how cute they still are!

For the inside of this card, I decided again on one of the journaling cards, and backed it with some of the orange plaid paper because the pattern on the inside is quite busy.

Be sure to grab your July Cherry Box so you can make some adorable cards as well! These were so fun & easy to create & the papers include so many different sayings for card making. I hope this inspired you to create! Thanks for stopping by!
