It’s all about our monthly challenges this month. We are so happy that so many scrappers appreciate and take advantage of our monthly challenges, that we decided to spotlight some of our favorites from the challenges of the last few months!
1st Day of K by scrappiestacie:
Was chosen from the sketch challenge by Angela (bluejeans7). This layout caught Angela's eye in the gallery right away. She loves the yellow and green with the black and all the stitching details.
Beth loved the chalkboard papers and the use of a black background. It really matched the colors in the photo.
Kathy says, "The first day photos are so cute and the gray monograms go perfectly with the chalkboard paper!"
Janell loves the way the title work is done on this beautiful back to school layout, such great and unique colors for this theme!
Angie says "I LOVE how the big title draws your eye down the page to the pictures!"
Sus thinks this is such a wonderful school page. She loves the way the title work was done and the products used are just great!
Jess likes the fun background paper on this LO and how well everything coordinates with the awesome photos!
Diana loves the color combo of this awesome layout and the over sized title!
Laura thinks the photos on this layout tell the story perfectly, and the color scheme is very appropriate for a school layout!
Kristianne says," This is a great contrast of colors and I really like how she used the extra-large letters for the title."
Laura F. loves the way Stacie framed the page and pulled some of her elements just outside the framework…very cool layout!
Amanda thinks this layout is terrific. She loves the yellow and greens the big title and the chalkboard paper.
Bloom by imwickedwitch
Was chosen from the digi doable challenges by Laura (Art_Teacher). Laura chose this layout for it's gorgeous color scheme, diagonal emphasis of the wonderful embellishments, and terrific journaling!
Angela thinks the colors on this layout are perfect for the gardening pictures. She loves the mix of flowers, hearts, and leaves across the layout.
Beth likes the corrugated cardboard, the scattering of embellishments across the layout, and the pretty colors.
"The angled photos and natural photo mat drew my eyes in immediately," says Kathy.
Laura F. loves this sketch by Pagemaps! Becky has used gorgeous colors that compliment her photos perfectly!
Janell thinks the flow of the photos crossed with the beautifully placed elements makes this one stunning layout.
Angie says "I LOVE how your eye is drawn across the page by the falling flowers that are placed diagonally across the layout!"
Sus loves the way that the layout design flows. And the circle highlighting one photo is a perfect touch!
Jess says, "The grounded neutral background really makes the rest of the delicate and bright elements shine on this!"
Diana says, “Those flowers are so pretty and perfect with the photos!”
Kristianne thinks she did a beautiful job with the clustering!
What Amanda loves about this page is the cluster of flowers shooting diagonally through it. They give the page a great pop of color that is shown in the pictures.
Get Your Feet Wet by RitaS
Was chosen from the Pick an Element challenge by Beth. Beth loved the cool design with the waves and fish. She thought the dimension she added with circles, gems, and overlapping swirls was awesome. She also loved the title and neat effect she did on the chipboard letters with glaze.
Laura F. thinks that the stamping Rita did on this layout goes perfectly with the watery paper along the bottom of the page. Add in those awesome fish embellishments and you have an amazing page!
Kathy thinks the embellishments are awesome and loves the layered patterned paper on this layout!
Janell says, "The patterns on these papers and all of the well chosen elements really give a vibrant feel to this layout. The fish are so cute too!"
Angie says, "I just ADORE all of those little fish and elements on this page and that some of them are pop dotted to add depth!"
Sus loves the layering, especially the overlapping ghost shape on the paper strips. She also loves what was done to the word WET!
Jess thinks the fish on this are adorable! The photos look great nestled in the waves and there is some awesome layering of embellishments here."
Diane loves all of the fabulous detail Rita used throughout the layout. Lots of great layers, texture, and color. Terrific layout!
Besides the adorable picture, Amanda thinks the layering is great and loves the colors. The stitching and the file tags are also great additions to the page.
"I love the dimension she used here", Kristiane says, "and also how the lovely blue and greens swirl up around the photos."
Laura loves the layering of embellishments on the left side of the photo and the way the title was created on this layout.
Diana loves this summer layout and said, “I just want to dive into the page! So many fun things going on!”
Farm Fresh by immom2anc
From the Pick an Element challenge, was chosen by Kathy (katarria), who says, "I love all of the layers here, and how all of the embellishments frame the photo - adorable!"
Laura says, "This layout is adorable and catches your attention right away with the darling photo and cool color combinations."
Angie says, "I think the bright cheery orange color just goes perfect with that picture!"
“What wonderful colors!”, Sus says! She also loves the design and the ribbon draping down the side of the layout looks great!
Laura F. thinks Kristen did a fabulous job with her embellishments on this layout! “Love the tilt of the graph paper and that polka dot flower is an awesome layer!”
Beth thinks the brown, orange and blue color scheme is gorgeous. The design on an angle, stitching and cute photo really make this LO stand out.
Angela really loves fall layouts and this one has the cutest photo!! She also loves the orange and turquoise with the brown, great colors to scrap those pumpkin photos.
The great colors and cutie pie picture caught Diana's attention!
Laura says, "The colors and the layering on this layout are fantastic and they really bring your attention to the adorable photo!"
Kristianne really likes the page elements tilted at an angle and the cute ribboned title.
Diane loves the angle that was used to create the background of the paper and the added touches of the buttons and ribbon. She loves the color combination of orange, blue and brown to create a fabulous farm layout.
Growing Like Weeds by milmomma
Was chosen by Dianagirly. Diana loves the bright colors in this fantastic hybrid album made for the June hybrid challenge. “The pages designs are awesome and so are all the cool ribbons!”
In Laura's opinion, this is a wonderful way to combine gorgeous digi supplies with paper to create a precious keepsake!
Kristianne says, "Fantastic job with this, I really like the bright, fun colors for this theme."
Amanda thinks this is a wonderful hybrid album. The colors really pop out at you and there are lots of embellishments to check out.
Beth likes the original title and pretty colors of the album.
Kathy likes the bright colors and cute title on this hybrid.
Laura F. thinks Brittney did an amazing job embellishing this mini album…such fun colors and bright elements!
Janell says, “This is a beautiful album and one would never know it was hybrid unless they were told.”
Angie said, "I LOVE to see traditional and digital products used in such a creative way!"

Jess says, "Wow, this is fantastic. What great spring colors! The flowers poking out from the sides really echo the idea of "growing like weeds.”
Tuesday Morning Loves by Suzanne_79
From the Everyday Inspiration Challenge was chosen by Sarah (davsar). Sarah says, "I love the blended picture and title work - and the picture of him looking out is too precious!"
"Who can resist a cute layout of Xander? Suzanne always does such a beautiful job with her composition and blending in her layouts, this one is no exception!" comments Janell.
Beth likes the photo blended into the background the clustering of the embellishments.
Kathy is in love with this layout! She thinks the photo placement is perfect and loves how the photos themselves tell the story!
Angie says, "I LOVE how she blended the photo of what was OUTSIDE and then placed the photo of her son in the bottom corner so your eye makes it look like you are looking through the window with him!"
Sus loves how she documented the everyday joys. The little garbage truck cluster is adorable!!
Jess says, "Oh goodness, that red truck accent is just perfect. The photo on this is so sweet and I love how it really looks as though he is seeing the truck through the window!"
Diana says, “Xander is such a cute little boy! I love how this page was made so we can see what wonders are holding him fast to the window!”
Laura finds the subject of this layout unique and she really enjoys the blended photo and the composition.
Kristiane says this is a perfect example of an everyday moment! She loves the blending and simple cluster of elements.
Laura F. thinks this layout is ABSOLUTELY SWEET! The photo is precious, and I love how Suzanne blended that background photo…the embellishments ROCK too!
Amanda says, "There is terrific blending in this page and the window pane lines make it look even cooler. I love how all the things are clustered at the bottom of the layout.”
Diane thinks this layout is just precious! Gotta love little boys and their love of trucks! The title is fabulous and Diane loves whimsical feel of the embellishments.

From the June Digi CT Reveal Challenge was chosen by Janell (janello). Janell is amazed at the artistic feel to this beautiful, fresh, yet very classical feeling layout.
Angie says, " STUNNING!!!"
Sus thinks this is just so precious and soft looking. Perfect dancing girl layout!
Jess thinks this really does embody the feeling of elegance. The crackled photo is so delicate and pretty...perfect for a little ballerina!
Diana is totally digging the cool photo effect in this pretty layout.
Laura had this layout among her picks for the spotlight this week, as well. The blending of the photo and the hand-tinted smaller photo combine with the soft elements to create a truly elegant work of art!
Kristianne says, "Stunning job with the blending! I love the effect the paper has on the background photo. The gentle swirls are the perfect touch also."

Was chosen from the One Word challenge by Angie (nun69). Angie says: " I LOVE the use of white space and how the U in the word "YOU" takes your eye straight to the main picture!"
Sus loves the design. How the flow of pictures leads you to the wonderful journaling.
Jess says, "This simple page makes me smile. The journaling lets us know that the photos show her son's true personality."
Diana says, “ I love the white space on this layout...and the yellow color keeps it feeling so summery and warm.”
"The whitespace in this layout draws your focus to the wonderful photo and heartfelt journaling," Laura explains.
Kristianne loves this beautifully simple page, with the repeated photo and metal word element layered over top.
"There is great use of white space here. I love the word you looking like part of the water stream and the use of the same picture several times at different light levels," says Amanda.
Diane thinks that the use of white space in this layout is perfect! She loves the repetition of the photo and the flair of the title.

From the Pick an Element Challenge, was chosen by Laura Fiore. She loves the hybrid papers Tricia used, and the brad circle really shows off her amazing photos!
WOW! Angela loves the bright blue, hints of red & white against the black background. It all just pops!
Beth likes the large white circle around the layout, which completes the page. The blue patterned paper and photos really look great on the black background.
Kathy loves the overall design here and saved this layout for inspiration!
Janell exclaims, "I love the three photos placed together and then the circle of white dots, such a wonderful layout!"
Angie says, "I LOVE the circle of white dots against the dark background!"
“The column shaped paper behind the pictures is WONDEFUL,” Sus thinks. She also loves the black background, which really highlights the photos!
Jess really likes this design! The circle of brads adds a nice curve to all the straight lines and the focus stays on her awesome photos!

Amanda loves the movement on this page with the space of the pattern paper and the big dotted circle. She also loves the hits of orange here and there.

Was chosen by Susan (suslvgeo). Sus thinks the colors on this layout by lilkoala are just amazing. They popped out at her in the gallery!! Sus loves the uses of punches and stickles. Also, the title is hilarious and probably all too true.
Jess says, "Everyone needs a girlfriend like the one described on this LO! The colors are vibrant and girly and the overall design is fun!"
Diana loves all the fun bright colors and cute embellishments on this layout!

For the May Theme Challenge, was chosen by Jess (scrapgoo). Jess thinks this layout compliments the photo really well. The distressed look of the paint border and all the layered fabrics and materials really makes for a cohesive design. And the splashes of red are the perfect touch!
Laura F. loves the beautiful elements on this layout. They go perfectly with Megan’s sweet photo!
