Angels and Advent Calendar ideas

Christmas time is a time of love and laughter. Its a time to rejoice, and be merry.  Laurie shares how inspired she was by this pretty angel.

She gives us a step by step of how she did it. It looks so easy!

Step 10 - Fold over 1 in half circles - glue together

Step 11 - Shape with Scallop cuts - fussy cut

Step 12 - Roll remaining circles from Step 9 to create sleeves

Step 13 - Cut 4 1-2 in circle for bib

Step 14 - cut slit in back for popsicle stick

Step 15 - Test Look of Bib

Step 16 - Decorate bib with Bling

Step 17 - Cut 2 circles each of Eggshell and Black Cardstock 2 inches in diameter

Step 18 - Cut one black circle in half - Layer to form hair around face

Step 20 - Cut excess black to shape of eggshell cardstock

Step 21 - Add Facial Features - Punches - Round and Heart for Mouth

The Final 1- Front

I came across this wonderful advent calendar idea on Pinterest, to make a tree for each day. There was these three patterns.

[warning- I did use a LOT of ink to do these trees. I went thru 3.5 color cartidges on my inkjet printer.]

I opened it in photoshop and layered it with pattern papers.  I printed 24 of them. I also created numbers and some snowflakes to decorate them.

I used my ATG to hold them together running it around the edge of the circle, and on the fold tab.

I used cotton balls on top and added the numbers and snowflakes for decoration. I wanted to keep them simple since my kids will rip them open and won't appreciate my primas.

Thanks all for reading!
