Making lovely things 13 comments

using Cosmo Cricket's Delovely

When I fist saw this line, I thought it was pretty but ,I have not so girly girls and thought the colors may be to bright and pretty for them. Yet, I  still really liked it and really wanted to scrap with it. I am sure glad I decided upon because it is fabulous. Cosmo Cricket always get my vote, and this line is really no different. The quality as you probably already know stands for itself. I also can tell you from personal experience that their customer service is fantastic as well, and they are an all around great company.

My first projects with this line are end of the year for my daughter's teacher. she has been a great teacher and my daughter really likes her alot. Plus, she is a scrapbooker...that has been a plus all year long.

I started with a plastic divider storage box. Covered the lid with DeLirious paper, added a strip from the . and then added the teacher's name. inside I covered some binder clips with a variety of the DeLovely papers and also a few of the magnetic clips. Then I threw in some Hershey miniatures and other "supplies'.

Next, is a post-it note holder. I started by cutting a sheet of cardstock to fit inside one of the plastic picture frames. I decorated it with a few of the DeLovely papers, DeLovely stickers,

Cosmo Cricket  Mini Letters, and some stickles. Placed inside the frame, then added a stack of post-it notes on top.

My next little project is a initial pendant for my daughter Kimmy. I used the Tim Holtz Fragments, covered it with DeLightful paper, and a mini stickers,

Then covered it all with Glossy accents. I then used some jump rings to attatch it to one of her play necklaces.

Then I set my sights on making some layouts.

This first one I wanted to be bright and happy to capture the spirit of the papers, but I also wanted a little of the teen feel to it so I used the black background. It is of my oldest pumping gas for the very first time. She is getting ready to get her learners permit , so I thought it only fitting that she learn to pump gas as well.

This next one is just a glimpse into my everyday life...homework. This one is of Kimmy learning to write in cursive.

Next up is one from our trip to Disney this spring. Taking teenagers to Epcot was definitely a unique experience...they started dancing in the middle of the country of Italy...just for the heck of it.

This one is just a pic of my dd before her chorus concert...she as actually a little dressed up and had her fixed. That does not happen much.

Last up is one of my oldest on the way to take her  very first Advanced Placement test..it was in a class called Human Geography and she is the only freshmen in the class. She was really scared and woke me up to drive her to school and take her to get breakfast, something that I only do on special occasions.

Thank you very much to ACOT for allowing me the pleasure of playing with these great products:
