How long have you been a 'Cherry': I’ve been a Cherry since 2008 – I still remember when it was Stickers Galore!

Describe your crafting style: I’m definitely a 2-page use a lot of pictures gal, but I also like to try current trends

Your favorite must have crafty tool(s): My Pazzles electronic die cut machine (an oldie but a goodie!)

Something new you've learned recently: I’ve learned – or admitted I have a serious paper hoarding issue! LOL But also, I’d say I am really learning more mixed media techniques as well as backing and using cut files. I like to design my own cut files as well.

Something you're scared of trying: Nothing, really – although I don’t really like to make cards. Just not my thing.

What inspires you to create:   I love scrapping my Disney trips, but my husband and I share hobbies often and I like looking at the covers of his comic books. I find the artwork very inspiring.

What are you excited to do in 2020? Well, my youngest child is graduating from high school and starting college, so that’s super exciting!! We have several trips planned, so I would say travel is what I’m most excited about besides that.

BIO:  My name is Shannon Colburn-Blinn. I am recently celebrated my 27th wedding anniversary to my best friend and partner in crime, Shane. We have 2 “children”. My daughter, Bailee, is 23 and my son, Logan, turns 18 this month. We have a 14 year old beagle, Annee, and two 5-year old pyradors (lab/Great Pyrenees mix) Marshmellow and Elsa. We live in Fort Wayne, IN. I am a clinical social worker and own my private practice, Believe Counseling and Consulting. When I am not working or going to events for my children, we enjoy going to music concerts, Broadway musicals and traveling (mostly to Walt Disney World!!). I have been scrapbooking for most of my life, really. I love to read and cross stitch as other hobbies as well as going hiking or running 5k races.
