We are so excited to show you the new Tim Holtz Distress color: Lost Shadow! This dreamy, soft gray goes well with everything! Use it on its own, or blend with other colors to tone down the brightness. Check out the swatches and projects below!

Check out how Lost Shadow compares with other neutral shades in the Distress family!

Jess created a couple of mixed media tags using Lost Shadow by painting Salvaged Rabbits with grey paint, spraying the backgrounds, doing some ink blending with the oxide ink pad, and staining the ribbons with grey. To color the Tiny Eggs she used other Distress colors and mixed them with the grey so they would all have the same tone. She then also sprayed the moss with oxide spray as well. This is such a fun project!

Emily created this non-traditional Valentine's Day card using the Distress spray stain & the Distress Oxide spray on the background of the front & back of the card. She also sprayed the little hearts from the lovely 49 & Market collection 'Rouge' and added those on with the rest of the embellishments from that line. Lost Shadow creates beautiful and subtle backgrounds!

Rachel created a monochromatic layout using Lost Shadow. She stamped, layered, embossed, fussy cut, painted, and more with this beautiful gray! Then her two other projects she paired Lost Shadow with Uncharted Mariner and Kitsch Flamingo.

Amazing use of this color! I love the misted backgrounds.
