Quick and Easy Paper flowers

QUICK TUTORIAL: Easy Paper Flowers

Objective: How to make paper flowers in a snap with just a few steps

INSPIRATION: I've been loving the distressed look on my layouts and cards lately, so when I got these pretty and fun PINK PAISLEE Pop Fashion papers and embellishments, I decided to go for that look with them!

Nothing goes more perfectly with that look than a paper flower, so I thought I would quickly share how to make them with you!

.

Cut (or punch) several circles out of the patterned paper. I like to keep the circles about 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" in diameter. The more circles you use to make the flower, the more you can play with the different layers of paper!

Ink or distress (or both!) the edges of the circles, and layer your circles with the smallest circle on the top, of course!

Next, add some buttons and a little bling...I've use buttons from Moxxie and KaiserCraft Pearls...I'm thinking I'll need those pearls in every color! The KaiserCraft Rhinestones look really good on these flowers, too. You could even add some stitching in random places...just play with your flowers until you achieve the look you desire!

Add the flowers to your card or layout so that you can see how much detail you want to add. I outlined the letter stickers, used a great rubon from the Pink Paislee Pop Fashion Icons, added some ribbon, a touch of lace and a few more pearls scattered around for mine! I also curled the edges of the circles up a little after I had adhered them to my card! Pretty easy and totally quick!

For this project, I used the following products:

These papers really have a wide array of uses, little girl pages, big girl pages, bold and funky enough for your teens, or you can even pull some elegant embellishments in to use them for romantic pages!
