Hey everyone!! It's Ashley, and I'm here today to share a new layout with you. If you have boys in your life, sometimes it can be a little bit difficult to find masculine products. But I love the new Teen Spirit Boy collection from Echo Park. It's full of awesome boy themed papers and embellishments, and I had the perfect photo of our son to go with it.
I started with a cut file, so I could use several of the patterned papers from the collection. I chose four of the papers and cut two of the sections of the cut file from them. Once I had the cut file in place, I machine stitched around the circle with black thread. The black stitching gives a nice contrast against the white background.
Since I already had a circle theme going with the cut file, I decided to crop my photo into a circle also. I made it a little larger so it would stand out on the layout and placed it at the bottom left of the layout. There are some fun stickers on the Teen Spirit Boy sticker sheet, and of course, I couldn't resist using some of the circle stickers around my photo. I backed some of them with dimensional foam to add interest to the stickers.
I wanted to balance the layout with a second embellishment cluster, so I placed it at the top right. It gives a great diagonal look to the design. I usually like to add in some smaller elements to my cluster groups, so the tiny star stickers were a perfect finish to the layout.
