Waffle Flower Christmas Tree Card

By: Channin Pelletier

Hello crafty friends! It’s Channin here and today I’m sharing a bold and graphic Christmas card featuring several products from Waffle Flower Crafts. Today’s design combines a red, pink and gold palette to create a festive background that is complemented perfectly with a mirrored and glittered gold sentiment.

To create this card I first die cut an A2 panel (4 /1/4” x 5 1/2”) of pink cardstock with the Pop-up Tree Die. I then ink-blended over the panel with Distress Inks and the Duo-tone Trees Stencil. I used Picked Raspberry for stencil 1 and Candied Apple for stencil 2.

When I finished ink-blending the panel I then adhered it to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I then adhered gold glitter drops at the tops of all the trees with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Next, I die cut the shadow layer for my sentiment out of mirrored gold cardstock using the Print & Script Merry Christmas Die. I then die cut the outline layer for the sentiment out of glittery gold cardstock. I then adhered the glittery words over the mirrored gold shadow layers with liquid adhesive. Lastly I finished my card by adhering the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Channin Pelletier

Hello! I’m Channin Pelletier and I live in sunny Arizona with my husband and our two sweet daughters. I’m a long-time stamper and paper crafter. I actually started paper crafting back in junior high by carving my own stamps from erasers to make handmade cards and scrapbook pages. However, over the years, cardmaking has definitely become my favorite crafty hobby!  It’s difficult for me to nail down my style, I’m a bit of a chameleon! I love clean and simple designs, coloring flowers and critters, and even constructing interactive cards! But overall I love trying to come up with designs that are unique or unexpected!

I’d love it if you would check out my YouTube channel, BlogGallery, or follow me on Instagram!!
