We R Memory Keepers MVP line 12 comments

sports photos troubles? Here is your line!

Do you have sporting event anxiety?

Does the thought of scrapbooking those 800 soccer/baseball/football pictures totally overwhelm you?

I understand.

I have four children.  Multiply that by 3 or so sports each, and the amount of photos that I have are incredible.  When I spied the WeRMemory Keepers MVP line in the Shoppe, though, it inspired me to actually work on a layout.  Or four

First of all, the line is TOTALLY unisex, which works SO well for me.  With a boy and three girls, I needed something masculine, but that I could still use for my daughters. I also love the variety of embellsihments that come with this line...there are the usual buttons, brads and ribbons...but there are also snaps that can be used with the Crop-A-Dile, and are fabulous.  The paper pack comes with sticker letters AND chipboard letters, and well as other die-cut sheets.  It is truly a bargain.

Let me show you what I did with the line!

I have a hard time scrapping sport pictures, because they are busy, and a lot of embellishments seem to overwhelm them.  Here is an amazing picture taken by a friend of ours.

I have been waiting to scrapbook it forever, so when I saw this line I knew it was perfect.  Do you see the dust flying off the glove?  I wanted the layout simple enough to let you see the details.

Next, I used the chipboard letters to tell my story.  Although Evan loves basketball, he is not a star player.  (yet ) So, when he got in the "big" game, and got fouled, I got a picture.  (It was my right as a scrapbooker ).

With lots of players and a busy background, simple layouts work well, and this line is great with can actually bypass the paper and create a layout with only embellishments.

Sometimes, totally simple is best, and layering patterned paper is perfect for that!

Here is a super simple layout of Evan when he first got his lacrosse gear.

Last, but not least, is a layout of my daughter Kendall, playing field hockey, which is gaining in popularity here in our area. She was voted defensive MVP her first year playing, and gets better every year!

I had a great time with this very generous kit (3 sheets of 12 different papers with foil, as well as a die cut sheet, and the amazing chipboard letters, as well as the alphabet stickers).  I hope that you give this great company and this amazing paper a chance!
