We are hosting Facebook Live classes every Friday! We recently remodeled our in-store classroom but due to more shutdowns from Covid, we haven't been able to use it very much. So we wanted to start an online classroom! We will give you a list of all the materials we will be using in these classes, but feel free to make it your own. Learn something new, ask questions that will get answered in real-time, and make a cool project! We are ready to have some fun and I would love it if you created along with us! Here is the schedule for April.
In this class, we will be transforming plastic eggs into little works of art. These eggs make a great spring decoration or a beautiful little gift.
Supplies Needed: Plastic Eggs, White Gesso, Rice Paper, Multi Medium Gloss, Chipboard Diecuts, Liquid Acrylic Paints, Metallique Waxes, a flat bristled paintbrush, Foil Flakes, and whatever other elements you wish to add.
We will be painting these spring trees using the scrunch, bunch, and dab technique using a piece of plastic. This class is beginner-friendly.
The rest of the April schedule will be posted soon!
For the month of March on Technique Tuesdays, we will be focusing on stitching! This could be stitching on paper, fabric, embroidery, or anything else that is sewed. Today we have a video showing 7 beginner-friendly embroidery stitches. These stitches are great for use on fabric and paper. You can even use these to add an extra element on your scrapbook layout or card!
This shows how the front and backside of the stitching looks.
Let us know in the comments what you would like to see on our next Technique Tuesday!
Hi There! It’s Lynda from Scrapbook with Lynda back to share my last March Guest Designer project with you.
I’m a fan of Harry Potter, so I was excited to see Paper House Productions’ new Harry Potter stickers and planners. They are so fun and playful, and totally Harry Potter because they are a licensed collection. The new little planner is updated and a perfect size to pop into my purse to keep track of appointments. I love these cute stickers, so I decided to decorate my planner with a Harry Potter theme. I started with a couple of strips of washi tape along the bottom, then layered stickers on top. I created a few clusters around my planner spread using the classic Harry Potter stickers then topped off the page with the new Harry & Hermoine puff clips. I just love the new Paper House Productions Harry Potter line and love how it looks in my planner!
