Hello everyone, Jil here. I just added a page to my scrapbook journal about my recent obsession with notebook charms. Here in the midst of planner season, it\u2019s been fun to dress up my various journals with charms, and this spread is officially giving us all permission to document the littlest of things!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I printed three photos of notebooks with charms, two at smaller sizes and one at the full 4×6, because I knew I could layer over it as long as I didn\u2019t cover the charms. I used two of the double-sided tags from a 12×12 cut-apart in The Flower Emporium <\/a>collection, one at the top left and one (trimmed) under my title. I\u2019ll confess that I got two of these sheets because I love the tags so much! The neutral-toned one fit the colors and mood of my spread perfectly, and the yellow scrap of a tag picks up the yellow in my charms. I layered my typed journaling over the tag at the top and grabbed a notebook sticker from my stash to accompany the writing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been meaning to use my small alphabet dies, and so I took a scrap of paper from the Simple Stories Color Vibe Woods 6×6 <\/a>pad and cut my title, \u201cCharming,\u201d on my die-cut machine. Because one of my charms is a cute dog illustration, I decided that three dogs cut from the Simple Stories Fur Baby Dog paper<\/a> would be cute to run along the bottom left of my spread as an echo of that charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other side of the spread is simply my two photos (one with a tan mat added in my photo editing app) and a strip of paper (Graphic 45 Life is Abundant<\/a>) to designate the month layered over one of the paper strips from the Get Messy line<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My tag along the top left flips up to reveal another stationery sticker (a tote bag) and strips of washi tape, including a pop of red stripe to pull out the red in my layout. The 49 and Market Spectrum Gardenia wishing bubbles<\/a>, which I added as a finishing touch, also include some playful red stripes and polka dots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quick and fun, this layout is designed to encourage you to document whatever sparks joy for you right now\u2014however small!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
