One more - What holiday chore/custom to do dislike the most?

Mine is baking cookies.  I'd love it if I had the time, but somehow it becomes a nightmare every year and squeezed in the wee hours of the morning.

I don't think I have any dislikes. I guess if I had to choose something I would say taking all the decorations down and packing them away.

Ha! I'm the opposite of Sherrie. I'm not a fan of bringing it all out and unpacking and putting things together/up. But I don't have a problem tearing it down!

I most dislike writing my notes/letters inside my Christmas cards.  For many of my recipients, it's easy.  But, there are a few that I struggle with.  (Yep, I still write notes in my cards.)
Right before I die, I'm going to swallow a bag of popcorn kernels.  My cremation is going to be EPIC!

Christmas shopping! I love giving gifts and finding or making the perfect thing but I do find the actual shopping (online or in store!) very stressful.
Happy Scrapping!

Mine is the clutter - you know the Christmas storage boxes, etc. that you get that has stuff in them.  I, also, wrap gifts for the Madill Baptist Girl's Home and there are about 6 girls X 3 packages and some are quite large and I hold them til about mid December so I feel like there is stuff everywhere!!

Getting ready for my kids Christmas party. I find it so stressful buying a gift for his teacher who I do not know, I hate figuring out a snack for his class because of allergy issues. I love it after its done, but getting it done I dread.

I'd say taking down the tree and putting the ornaments back into their little boxes!

The last week of school before Christmas break! It drives me nuts! They squeeze in a field trip, usually to the movies, and it's always cold- they day they go (lol, I know they don't choose it that way! But it's never a 70° day),  parties, pajama day (cold again), basketball games, a Christmas program with songs and speaking parts, a Santa letter parents don't see until it appears in the paper a day or two before Christmas Eve, and talking to Santa without parents, so potentially my kid has asked Santa for 3 different things, and I fear that's how she'll know ... and to top it all off, they get out at 1:00 on Friday!

I'm so glad we have a full week out of school before Christmas Day ...

Taking down the tree and decorations.  Nobody ever wants to help.  Dragging in the boxes and bags from the shed to put all the stuff in.  Everything in its certain box or bag etc and then taking it out and putting back in the shed.  then a day or two later finding something I missed.   ick

Putting Christmas lights on the tree.  I hate that.  For several years we had a fake one with lights already on, but they started going bad.  This year we did real trees.

I used to hate putting the lights on the tree and dealing with ones that won't light AFTER the ornaments are put on and the tree is done. Really got me so mad! But now we have a pre-lit LED and it's awesome! I love it and don't dread putting the lights on the tree anymore, since I don't have to lol. And LEDs are so reliable!

I guess I would have to say putting it all away. And also just never having enough time to get things done. I love shopping, I love wrapping, I love decorating, but no matter how early I start I always seem to be rushing around the last minute. It's the rushing to get done that I dislike. I hate it when things are everywhere and out of control and I'm in a mess.

Baking cookies! As much as I love "cooking", I hate "baking".  I have a big Kitchen Aid mixer but it is on a high shelf in our laundry room and neither one of us has the strength (or desire) to bring in down into the kitchen.  Besides, hubby has diabetes so there is no reason to have all that temptation in the house.
