What's Cooking 01/20/2019

Post by Monroe1218 » Sun Jan 20, 2019 8:40 pm

Sorry for the late post.... I got into making enamel dots today and time really got away from me!  DH and I are feeling slightly better - thankfully.  Hopefully, we are well on our way to be well.  I hope anyone else that's feeling yucky is feeling better quickly!!

Breakfast/brunch - I made Waffle House hashbrowns, bacon and cinnamon rolls.  Well, Pillsbury made the cinnamon rolls.  I just baked according to instructions.
Neither one of us was hungry or felt like making anything for lunch.... so it was a no go....
Dinner... I was feeling a little lively so I made slider burgers on the stovetop.   We usually grill year round - but it's too cold tonight at 19.  We will be in the negatives with the windchill in the morning.

Hope you all have had a relaxing Sunday!

Temps are plummeting here today, going from 71 to the 20's! So I wanted some comfort food.
I made a pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. Sure hit the spot!

we were going to go out but with the temperatures getting so cold, we decided to stay in and have Indian food delivered.

I had a very bad stomach bug over the weekend so nothing at all except ice chips on Saturday and a few saltines and couple of bites of plain white rice on Sunday. :(

I hope you're feeling better!
I don't have ducks.  I don't have a row.  I have squirrels.  And they're at a rave.
