June is one of those wonderful months with loads of fun for children and parents alike. Children are looking forward to school being out, summer trips and lots of water fun be it a pool, water park or just the hose in the backyard. For me as a child we were out of school the Friday before Memorial day. The next weekend was the first swim meet for summer league. Then there were the Friday night Rabbit Races all summer on Galveston Bay put on by GBCA. Loved those races on Dad's sailboat! Birthday parties took up a huge portion of June! My BFF of 41 years celebrates her BD tomorrow, my cousin's on the 25th and brother on the 27th. And at some point during the summer was resident Girl Scout camp and a plane trip all by myself to my grandmother's either in Florida or North Carolina. My third grandmother lived near us.

Your challenge should you accept it.....

Choose a photo 10 years or older and represents summer fun! Mine will represent my childhood memories but yours does not have to. Of course use what you consider heritage products!

My example is I think my brother's fifth birthday in 1968 at my grandmothers!!!! From my grandmother's photo collection.

May not be combined with another challenge. I'm getting you to complete your goals this month!!! Of course if another challenge states you can combine it with their challenge then you can do so!!! Sound confusing.....I'm leaving it up to you to determine that definition!

My parents are selling their house so I have been raiding her pictures to take stuff off her hands Found this one of my best friend and I with our lemonade stand back in 1985. I have so many memories playing in that front yard with her- summer always meant being outside with my friends!

OK here goes....and this is my interpretation of "heritage paper" for this specific pic.....

Here's my layout for this challenge. I did this for a challenge at basic grey and then realized that these pictures are of my niece 19 years ago which is definitely more than 10 years old. We spent the day at Eagle Creek Park here in Indy the summer of 1993.

Here is my LO. Pics are from 2000. My sister and I took a SUMMER road trip up in northern Indiana and searched for round barns!!! Here are 2 of 7 we found!!
