I did cut out a section of the swatch. I went through my digi kits and only found a few things that were close to the colors. I saved the swatch, imported it as a jpeg and used it as part of my layout. The heart is also cut from the swatch. I haven't digi scrapped much or for long and I learned so much from doing this challenge. I used the colors in the swatch (after importing) to change the colors of the flower, stitching, photo mat and tape, I've never done that before on digi pages so that was great to learn. I'd also never thought about importing "found" jpegs into my digi software to use as papers and embellies, I'm really excited to know that I can do that. Thanks again for a wonderful challenge!Art_Teacher wrote:This is so adorable! Did you cut out a section of the swatch and use it for the design at the top? What a great idea!JillinIN wrote:Wow this was hard, but so much fun!! Thanks for a great challenge.
Here's mine - I used mostly purple, then I also matted the photo in both light grey and darker grey. I also used light blue in my flowers. Thank you for this challenge. I am so ready to scrap using purple again. I couldn't help but use the same washi that I had used in the LO in the photo
