SEPTEMBER 2019 MAKE-THE-CUT Challenge -WINNER!

Post by Deanna13 » Mon Sep 02, 2019 7:12 am

If you haven't tried this challenge yet, I hope you'll jump right in this month! :-D

Here's your new list of papers this month! Remember You will need to use solid cardstock for the background and whatever other cardstock you want, but these paper cuts must be from Patterned Paper. You can add anything else as far as embellishing and mixed media goes, etc. You can place them in any design you like.

5 3/4 x 12
3 1/2 x 9 3/4
2 1/2 x 9 1/2
4 3/4 x 8 3/4
3/4 x 12
3/4 x 3 1/2
:)

2-page scrappers........only 1 page will count, so for the 2nd page you can do the same or anything you like.

8 1/2 x 11 scrappers.....I believe the dimensions given will work, EXCEPT for the 2 that are 12 inches long. Just change those to 11.

Here's my example...

Photos of DD Michelle and her family who live in Huntington and are big Marshall Fans. I believe this was meet the team night. (August 2019) :greeninlove:

For the fine print....
This can be a paper or digital layout ONLY! All work must be new. You may do this multiple times. You may combine with one other challenge that allows. Please link your work here. Deadline is September 30th. A random winner will be selected for a $5 ACOT gift card from me!

Okay I am first timer here and want to make sure I understand the directions...my background is solid and I use the different size cuts you have listed above in different paper - can be solid or PP, is this correct?

I love this challenge because I love mixing papers (a good amount but not too many!) on a LO

Thanks!

Love the soft greens in your page example, Deanna.  Did this challenge for the first time last month and loved it, so looking forward to doing it again now!  Thanks for the challenge.

Yes, Kathy is correct. All the dimensions given must be from patterned paper, not cardstock.

Once again, I like this Challenge.  I hope to get to it this month.  I just can't find time to scrap after work and weekends are for of chores....  I do have a crop on the 21st though!

Hi Deanna! Thank You for your sweet words about seeing me on the board again :) I haven't scrapped a lick really since NSD in May and I was getting so far behind if I didn't crank something out I was going to give up for life. LOL

Thankfully I can always count on the board to give me challenges to get me going again.

Here's my September take on make the cut.
