January Mood Board Challenge *WINNER*

I just loved looking in the gallery at all your beautiful layouts...this is my favorite color scheme, by far!   Randomly drawn winner is Vicki R.!  PM me your address so I can send your prize. 

New year, new mood! I love the colors of this mood board, as well as the quote in the middle.   For this challenge, you must use the color scheme (teal /turquoise and purple), and then choose 3 ADDITIONAL inspirations from the mood board, besides the colors.  I will enter your name in the drawing twice if you work the quote into the title (part of it) or in your journaling/embellishments.



Must be a new layout, and CAN be combined with one other challenge that allows combining.

Love these colors!  I don't have a lot of purple in my stash but realized that I had a patterned paper I have been holding on to had the perfect mix of purple and teal.  My inspirations included the ombre-like effect of the feathers in the upper left that looked like chevrons and two aspects of the quote - the different font sizes as well as the thin letters that reminded me of an old set of Thickers I hadn't used in awhile. 

(BTW - the wide border/mat is actually white - something wacky happened with the light and my phone when I took the photo of the layout)

I was inspired  by the grid, flowers, water drops and stitching in the quilt.

I love this color combo!! I was inspired by the colors, feathers, the raindrops ( I used rhinestones) and the fabric. I didn’t have fabric, so I chose to use mulberry paper.

Actually, I love them so much, that they are the colors that I have chosen for my upcoming wedding! 

My BF proposed to me on Christmas Day and now he is my fiance...and we are getting married in August 
It will be a beach wedding...so the various shades of purple and teal are perfect.

Three inspiration items:
Paint around the window (I used gel plate prints I made with acrylic paints for the cut bursts)
Flowers
Gray background with the couch

Here is my layout:



For inspiration, I chose:
1. the feathered look, which I used by adding a chevron papers, 
2.the silk fabric, which I saw in the water color paper I chose.
3.the flowers
4.I used dark purple to mat my photos, like the dark purple frame on window
5. and last, the halo around the tree, so I made a circle with pearl drops.

This was a fun one. I did not have any paper in the color scheme so I painted soft white glitter paper with watercolors and smooshed it around with saran wrap. My three inspirations were the flowers, feathers and raindrops.
