Scrap a Day, September 19th

Post by blbabe1234 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 9:11 am

Good morning cherries! No scrapping again for me last night. Another brain dead work day and after dinner, DH and I watched a movie we had put in our queue for Netflix. Up early with the pups and already been responding to a few emails that came in late last night.

So who has scrappy plans for today? Me - not sure. Would love to work on the layout I started on Sunday. But we shall see!

How about you?

Morning Brandy!! I've been catching up a bit in the gallery this morning.  I have an eye appointment this morning, since my glasses broke just before vacation. I did wear my contacts alot and thankfully the one side of my glasses didn't break off altogether while we were gone. Hope to scrap this afternoon.

I've also been working on an order since some things have come in lately. Are the Promo Codes listed anywhere? I haven't been able to find them.

Have a good day, everyone!

No big plans on my agenda today.  Headed out to walk shortly. Went out for dinner last night with some friends and back to work tomorrow.  Playtime sounds good to me!

Sorry your glasses broke. Ugh!

There is one promo code on the home page (underneath the slide show of pictures). But can't seem to find anything else.

Thanks Brandy! That's the only one I see and I think it's the same as on the emails. I'm hoping for a 20% off soon. Image

Good morning Cherries! I'm starting to get ready for our vacation to Ocean City MD and have packed the scrappy supplies I want to take.  But I do want to complete the Becky Fleck sketch challenge before we leave. I do need to upload a layout I had completed earlier.

Working for me today then home to organize and clean out my downstairs hall closet. Ugh...wish me luck.  I don't get off work until 7pm tonight, so after I am done with that, we'll see. I don't start my allergy shots until next week and am allergic to dust and dog fur, both of which I am certain I will find in the closet.  So I may have a nice drug-induced early bedtime.  LOL  I am in intensive training Thur-Sat so I may be MIA for a few days. I started a layout yesterday (well, I cut out all the pictures from a collage print)...I'd like to actually put it together tonight, so fingers crossed!!  I also need to cleam my scrap table BADLY. I have barely a 12x12 spot to work on. LOL

Have a great day! Safe travels Chris!!  What movie Brandy?

This month has been extra difficult. Extra hours at work (oh my goodness my workload has literally doubled, and I could barely manage before), extra projects, this newest college class has been more demanding. Add in the birthdays this month, my husband working so much I barely see him and can't get his help (it's the season), my daughter starting school, ballet, and piano this month plus getting into the more tired and difficult phase of pregnancy = I'm a hot mess! I WANT TO SCRAP but have had no time. However, I will have time this weekend and I am SO looking forward to it.

Oh wow Shannon...the closet? Eeek! Good luck!!

We watched "Hostiles". It came out in Jan. Its about an Army captain escorting a dying Cheyenne man back to Montana. They start their journey in New Mexico. Takes place in 1892

I am so sorry your work load has doubled. Both DH and I get busy around Q4 as well.

I noticed also that preorders now get 10% off instead of 20% off :(

We, or should I say my sister the social butterfly, had company for a few days, so that limits majorly the amount of scrapping I can get done as well as the amount of time I have to check in.

Had breakfast this morning with a very fine lady and her husband that I had asked you all to pray for a decade ago, and she's now in her 80s and cancer free!  Lorraine, if any of you remember.  She's my second mom.Image
So I had hoped to scrapbook today, but last night this klutz managed to burn my index and middle fingers to the point of blisters. I have prescription burn cream on them, and they are doing much better.  But no scrapping, at least not today.
Good news is we located another scrapbook crop in our area, and we're going to try it out on October 6.
The pool is almost over for the season, and while I love the colors of fall, I hate seeing summer go. Time to scrap some of those photos to hang on a little more.

I've never done the preorders. I just wait for a good sale and place my order. Image

Just finished up a layout that is a year overdue. Ann's Motivation Challenge gave me a kick in the butt. As soon as I listed it in my post I immediately said I'm doing it right now! Thanks Ann!!

It is baby JJ's digital birth layout. Now all there of them have one.
