Binge watched Jen Schow today

Post by JillinIN » Tue Feb 12, 2019 6:59 pm

I've been sick all weekend. It hurts to move, so I watched YouTube and slept today.
I've seen one video by Jen Schow before and liked it, but now I'm hooked!

What's your favorite Jen Schow tip, technique or video?

My favorite thing I learned today was fun foam behind a matted photo to lift it off the page. I was watching the use it or lose it "rub-ons" video. She didn't talk about the fun foam behind the picture, so I'm sure she must cover that in another video.

I've never heard of her.

I hope you feel better soon.

Hope you feel better soon Jill. I enjoy watching her videos too...especially that series! I need to sit down and watch her 6x6 series! I watched her latest one yesterday, where she used a CTMH kit and changed it up some! It was a good one!

Oh no, hope you feel better soon, Jill! But binging Jen Schow is not a bad way to spend the time! I just love her. The thing I love most is how she makes you refocus on what you already have. Like, we bought this stuff because we once loved it and had to have it....so just use it! (easier said than done sometimes LOL!). She has a group on Facebook that is quite fun also --- Crafty Use it or Lose it.
Happy Scrapping!

Oh, I hope you feel better soon but watching Jen has to help :)  Love her Use It or Lose Series.  That is what actually got me into my stash and I have been doing some layouts!

PS...  not to enable you... but... check out Missy Whidden..she uses fun foam along with mixed media ;)

Jen Schow totally inspires me too.  Use it or lose it series rocks!  I have found a new love for punches and 6x6 paper pads.

Oh, no, Jill, hope you feel better soon.  I've watched a few of Jen Schow - like her videos.  The first time I saw the foam being used for a 3D effect was on Victoria Marie's Youtube (I think it might be under Victoria Marie Scraps of something like that).  I have since bought foam so I can try it LOL

I'm so sorry you've been sick, Jill! Hope you feel better soon! I've only watched a few of hers, usually when someone points it out to me.

I also hope you are much better ! I have only watched one, but I think I will watch some today !! I want to watch the rub-on one! I wish someone would use older stash, particularly rub-ons in a challenge sometime !!

I think I saw that one... at least I saw one where she used a kit and totally switched it up. It was really good.

It's crazy how much we can accumulate and keep buying.
She inspired me to use my rub-ons. I haven't used those in years.
I'll check out that facebook group! Thanks!
