Handmade embellishments

Post by suewho372 » Mon Aug 03, 2020 5:27 pm

I needed something to keep my mind busy. really haven't been able to sit and scrap - to come up with an idea yet.
I do like to sew on paper so I had an idea. I looked through all my embossing folders for something I could use to make
an embellishment and sew on.

So what I found is that the embossed parts are very thin and tear even easier than regular paper so have to take it super easy.
I could've used a smaller needle, that may have helped but I didn't. I am not totally done with these yet but it was fun and
kept my mind busy when I listened to some tv show.

I wish people came with a thirty second trailer so I can see what I'm getting myself into.

Very cool idea, Sue, and something I could do while watching TV at night!  Love how your projects turned out!  Thanks for sharing a great idea.  I have tons of embossing folders.

WOW!!  Susan, what a great job!!
I stitched ONE, count 'em, ONE of Paige Evan's Sketch & Stitch, and it was a bear to do!!  She has them on Etsy, they are little dots cut on your Cricut to embroider, and so tedious, and you have to be so careful. I'm so impressed with yours!!  I think I've retired after the one sprig of flowers I did, and still haven't put it on the layout.
