Scrap a Day, October 22nd

Post by pawprints » Thu Oct 22, 2020 9:55 am

Hey Cherries. I had a really nice birthday yesterday. Spent some time with my mom during the day and last night we got Applebee’s! First time we’ve gotten takeout since the pandemic. I talked to dd and the kids on the phone. With the kids having school and dd having work the next day we decided to get together on the weekend. Plus it was very misty and foggy last night. Our temps right now are warm for October so maybe on the weekend we can do something outside.

Twinkie has a vet visit today for the rest of her shots so we’ll be riding out there in a bit, then when we come home I’m off to my mani pedi. I may scrap when I get home but I have a card to make first so we’ll see how it goes.

Have a great day Cherries and stay safe!

Good morning. Glad you had a nice birthday.

I'm at my scrap desk this morning. I made this Thankgiving card already and I might make another one. My sister will be without family this year on Thanksgiving, so the least I can do is send her a card. Not sure if we will be with my in-laws or not because of logistical and transportation issues. (They are not a covid risk because they already had it but they can't drive as far as us and we can't go to them because we are picking my son up at college the day before).

I have a bunch of small local errands to do this afternoon, the basic suburban driving around in circles.
Have a great day everyone!

As usual, no big plans here.  Getting more snow right now.
I did some baking yesterday.  Hoping to take some out to my dd in Seattle next week. I think we have squashed the idea of taking our camper.  Too many mountain passes to tackle and Mother Nature seems to not want to co-operate right now.
Need to do a little cleaning today.
And need to make a wedding card.

Good morning, everyone!

Barb, glad you enjoyed your day!  Keep on enjoying today with your mani/pedi!

I've got nothing pressing going on here again today.  Were supposed to get close to 80 this afternoon and tomorrow.  But, I've got no reason to be out and about, so it doesn't matter to me.

My son's birthday is Saturday and I have to wrap his gifts . . . that's about it for me!  I do have a couple of projects I want to work on, but Mike works in my space all day, so . . . maybe this weekend.
When people tell me "You're going to regret that in the morning.", I sleep in until noon because . . . you know . . . I'm a problem solver.

Good morning cherries. Barb, glad you had a nice bday. Good luck to Twinks at the vet.

Louise - beautiful card. I understand the whole "not sure what we're going to do" about Thanksgiving and stuff. So many what if's and unknowns out there.

Day starting out quiet for once. First time all week. I managed to finish a huge report last night that I started on Friday. Today, I've got several small things I'd like to knock out before I do an upgrade. Once I do that, then I can move on to some of the larger features for the program.

No scrapping here but I DO want to TRY to get those layouts I did on Sat/Sun UPLOADED!!! Just either not feeling well, or super busy with work. We shall see if TODAY is the DAY! LOL!

Hope ya'll have a good one.

Good afternoon, DH had bloodwork this morning and then he drove me to Kohl’s so I can spend my Kohl’s cash (and of course a bit more). Since I basically now live in yoga pants and tops, that’s my new place to shop. No use in going to J Jill’s or Ann Taylor. Since he had to fast, neither of us ate and we’re both starving.
