Gallery - did anyone else notice the numbers are back (sorta)?

Just the other day winmom posted about the gallery search and several people commented about how we missed the little numbers that let you know how many people had commented. I liked to use them to let me know which layouts may need some loving. WELLL.......while trolling the gallery on my laptop today I happened to let my cursor hover over a layout and I suddenly discovered that when you do that, the name of the layout pops up over it (next to your cursor) with the number of comments next to it in parentheses!

(ps. I haven't figured out if/how you can do it on your smart phone - so far I don't see a way)

I dunno? Maybe? I never noticed before today. I know we were talking about it a few days ago- maybe someone noticed? In any event I am glad!

I couldn't get it to work on the smart phone either - I wonder if it is because you need an actual cursor and touch screens aren't compatible?

hmmmm - I have an iphone 12 and couldn't get it to work - how did you do it? I thought maybe it had something to do with it being a touch screen and needing a physical cursor?

Well, now it isn’t. lol. I did it the other night by just pointing and holding my finger down. That’s not working now, so maybe it was a fluke.
