Another spread for Maddie's first holidays album. She looked so adorable in her dress that dd and I decided to have a photo shoot with her. This is for this month's die cut challenge - use your die cutting machine to make at least five die cuts... a leaf, a flower, a journaling spot, and the rest is up to you. I made leaves with two different dies, flowers, and cut a rounded corner journaling spot for my journaling sticker. I also cut ovals and an intricate swirly embellishment. All cuts were made with my Cuttlebug using dies from various companies. TFL.

I want to mention that for the first time I actually had great success embossing coredinations cardstock and sanding off the embossed part to show the color core! I have never had any luck with it and this time I did and am so thrilled with the results I will definitely be doing it again! I used We R's Heart Attack tool and just kept sandling very gently. I did this for the two large leaves in the upper left corner using the Sizzix Embosslit Leaf die. I love how they came out!
