November Manufacturer's Challenge - Letter "J" (Jenni Bowlin)

As we moved into our new home in August, we realized we now had 14 acres and not a single way of mowing anything. Our previous home had less than 1/4 acre of grass and after butchering the lawn with a broken push mower our first week there, we hired a lawn service to mow from then on. Not an option now with so much land! Tractor mowing is the only way to go but since a lot of the acreage has trees, the tractor can't get everywhere. So a friend of ours sold us his rider mower. It was my husband's first "manly toy" in this new adventure of ours. Even my daughter thought it was kind of cool and actually OFFERED to mow. (That enthusiasm lasted only two weeks, of course). Amazing how a man who wouldn't even pull a weed in our old home now won't come in for dinner if there is something more he can do outside!
