I made this window frame as a wedding gift for friends of ours that got married a couple of weeks ago. I have over 30 hours into this project. I had a blast making this!!! She had buckets of mums as her flowers on each table at the reception so I made some pots to hang at the bottom of the window...each flower pot at the bottom of the window has a letter stamped onto a wooden heart; which spells out their last name. The flowers in the pots were made using the Cricut; except the sunflower, that was a die. The sunflowers and the mums took up most of the time creating this as they are quite tedious, but well worth the effort involved!!! My friends both work in the farming industry; he raises beef cattle and she works with horses; they also boil sap with his family in the Spring for maple syrup (so I added some maple leaves) and they also have an apple orchard and they make cider in the Fall so I added an apple as an embellishment in one of the panels. I tried to incorporate all that they're involved in, into the embellishment on the side of the window. Her cousin is a magician and did a magic trick at the reception which involved the nine of hearts, so I added that as well. I cannot wait to give this to them!!! I hope they like it!!!
