This is our 2022 holiday card...yes, it's Shutterfly - don't judge ;-) ...easiest way for me to include pics and our annual update "letter" on the back. The card is held down by washi tape, so that you can flip over the card to see the note, plus some hidden journaling behind the card.

I was inspired by an upcoming CSI case file (sneak peek!), and by this challenge to include texture:

I was trying to come up with ideas for texture, and I saw Aztam's page, so lifted her treatment of leaves for a wreath.
I used a star stencil and gold stencil paste, and the wreath is made from a leaf cutfile. I layered the leaves, plus added some fussy-cut holly leaves and curled up some of the edges for dimension. I added other layers of ephemera and puffy stickers and handstiched gold floss through the leaves too.
