Twinkie and Sky having fun in their pool while it's being filled. For Laura's MMC (July 5th) Challenge #3 - 4th of July Recipe Challenge. The items I had to use for my recipe were:
1. Create a one page layout with only 2 photos
2. Use lots of bling and make your layout sparkle
3. Use light colored papers/nature accents or papers/stickers
4. Use wood elements/ribbon/chipboard
For bling and sparkle I used a shimmer mist on the background paper, glittery oak leaves, glitter waves on my fussy cut paper, a glittery alpha, and bling water droplets.
My nature accents and papers are the leaves and branch embellies and the grass paper.
For stickers I used the scalloped journaling block and the leaves are stickers.
My wood elements are the two wood doggie bones at the top.
My ribbon runs across the top.
The alpha is chipboard.
Journaling reads: Whenever I fill up the pool for Twinkie and Sky they both get so excited that they jump right in while it's filling! It is so cute how Sky digs in the pool where the water is coming out of the hose!
