For my NSD Hang it Up Challenge - to hang a banner with banner flags AND hang items and/or attach things to your banner that relate to the them of your layout.

Pics of Maddie and Aiden decorating DH's birthday cake back in 2017.

Journaling:
On Richard’s birthday I usually save the decorating of his birthday cake for Maddie and Aiden. I would buy the writing gels and the candles and have it all ready for them, and they would go to town being very creative with their decorating. They would always add their own creative touches, using sprinkles and candies that I had in the kitchen. I love watching them do this and seeing their final creation come to life. Unfortunately they have not been able to be here for Papa’s birthday both last year and this year due to the pandemic. I really missed that they could not come in and decorate the cake, and the fact that JJ would have been able to “help” this year also.

These pictures are from his birthday back in 2017, where they did a great job decorating… adding Hershey’s Kisses, chocolate sprinkles, a chocolate square, and Peppermint Patties to that year’s creation. I just love their creative process.

Mini Evolution - I LOVE this little die cutting machine! It is great for cutting small dies and takes up so little room when you are working. I never had to take out my Cuttlebug at all while working on this layout since all the dies I was working with were very small and worked perfectly with this!
