A layout of my son and his best friend at school. I used a painting my son did as part of the background (I love doing this - then I don't feel guilty getting rid of it!). Created for the April 2016 Color Challenge - using green. I have three shades of green - the bright grassy green of the paint and the two greens in the patterned paper and frogs (forest green and a more yellowy green).

Supplies: paper, stickers, die cut - Bella Blvd; enamel dots - Simple Stories; mini star stamp - Heidi Swapp; alpha stamps - Hampton Arts; white alphas - American Crafts; ink - Tsukineko; wood veneer - Studio Calico; pen - Sakura; tag punch - EK Success

LOVE this! I've used my son's artwork on a page before, too. Now that he's a teenager it's even more special to look at. When your son starts writing, have him do some journaling for you, too (just a tip, another fun thing to look back at :) Love the greens & yellows on this, fun page!
