I’ve been substitute teaching 4th grade since the second week of January, and we’re on the downhill slide, with the last day of school being May 18! It’s been fun, but I’ve joked that I have a condition I’ve named “4th Grade Brain!” I find myself asking the other 4th grade teacher how to do things several times …, I whine on rainy days …, PE and Recess are my favorite subjects, etc…. So, as I was planning a challenge, I couldn’t think of any other subject than school!
My layout challenge for you is as easy as ABC-123!
Your assignment is to make a new layout with the following requirements:
1. Use items that begin with the letters “ABC.” Example: A—acrylic paint, B—brads, C—charms.
2. Use 1, 2, and 3 of each item or a multiple of one of those numbers. Example: 1 charm, 2 colors of acrylic paint, and 3 brads.
My example, (found in my personal gallery), uses an Arrow stamp (used it three times), a Blue washi used 4 times (multiple of 2), and Cork letters (used 6 letters). I don't want this to be complicated, just letting you do the math. As I was making my example, I didn't have 2 shades of blue washi that matched my patterned paper, and didn't want to limit my cork title to just three letters. So, just have fun. Try to stick with the ABC's if math's not your thing, lol!
