treasure find

Nice roller phrase/date stamp. Goes from 2011 thru 2022. Stamps nicely. You can stamp just the phrases or dates by themselves too by inking up just that part.

Great for adding the date

Review by ratgirl on 2013-09-06

Love this stamp! I use mine on the letters I write to friends as well as in my scrapbooks. The library date stamp "sloppiness" is part of the charm.

Re: the person who mentioned using Copics to ink the stamp, you'll most likely have much better results using water-based stamp markers than Copics. I love my Copics and use them constantly to color in images, but they are alcohol based, so they will dry too fast to stamp with, and "huffing" on the stamp won't help reconstitute the ink if it's alcohol based. Try Ranger markers or another stamping marker instead.

This works great. I like to stamp repeatedly for a fun look.

I happen to love mine and use it all the time. sometimes I ink just the date, sometimes just the phrase, and sometimes both. I use it most on cards of all things! I love it so much I bought one for my son's girlfriend, and she uses hers a lot as well. :)

First date stamp I bought and I'm hooked! Love all the versatile sentiments it has to offer. Lots of fun!

even though it might look like a sloppy date stamp, i still appreciate the added bonus words or phrases, and the year goes as far as 2020 (or is it 2018?) so it'll still be useful until then :)

Agree with the other ladies. This date stamp is not of much use. When I'm stamping things that mean something to me, something that I would take the time to put in this book, why would I want a sloppy date stamp!? With stamping, you get one chance.

I have ordered a few copics. I am going to try just using those to "ink" the stamp and see how well that works.

I just ordered mine regardless of the other 2 reviews. I love the idea of stamping the date (although yes, writing it in sometimes is more personal so I'll do both). I know I'm going to like my stamp =)

Nice idea I think, but I think it would be easier to just write the date in yourself versus trying to flip to the right date. Plus its more personal if its in your own handwriting.

It is very hard to get the detail on this stamp without getting the unraised edges there, too. It seems to be something that is common with these date stamps.
