I've made make-up magnet boards for a housemate and for my stepdaughter. This stuff is perfect for such a high-use, high-pressure application with zero stickiness and a satin finish. If you're making something that is going to get handled a lot, use this stuff. It doesn't come in economy sizes (Drat you, Plaid!), so I use the plain, old matte Mod Podge to adhere the paper onto the surface, then "varnish and seal" with the Hard Coat. It's more economical that way.
Great for sealing all those decoupage projects. I use this to seal repurposed boxes. Stiffens up punched flowers to keep them rigid. Oh, the list goes on.....
