Basic Grey Curio 8 comments
A great line and some fun sketches!Posted by bluejeans7 It is so good to be back scrapbooking , which I had to put on hold while we moved. For my CT reveal I picked the Basic Grey Curio line. Basic Grey always does an amazing job creating and putting together new lines, they are one of my favorite companies. Their pattern papers are beautiful, double-sided and they work so well together. And the wide variety of embellishments rock! I always have a hard time picking which embellishments to use. But this time even with the amazing Curio line to work with I needed a little help..... PageMaps to the rescue. Most of you know that we recently moved....... well I still do not have my scrapbook room set up and I have been feeling uninspired. So I set up at my dinning room table with the Curio line, my photos and some PageMaps sketches. I was able to get all four of my layouts done in less then two days! And that is fast for a slow scrapper like me. So if you are searching for your lost mojo, try the Basic Grey Curio line teamed up with some PageMaps sketches!
His Smile Melts My Heart: I started with the Carob Bazzill cardstock on this layout and then had lots of fun layering up the pattern papers. The papers I used were Chiffonier, Coverlet, Linen and Upholstery. And who says you can't use flowers on a boy layout....... I use them all the time. LOL! And the buttons are so much fun to use, love the mix of colors with this line.
Now Those Are Some Cute Baby Cheeks: Here's my baby girl when she was only 1 day old. (Over 14 years ago!) For this layout I used the Candlelight Bazzill cardstock, Rose Water paper, General Store paper, Camelia paper, Upholstery paper and Ophelia paper. Then I mixed some Curio Bloomers and Zva Creative pearl bling!
Self Portraits: This was a fun sketch to play around with and I have been wanting to scrap these photos of Erik and I ever since I had them printed, so it was just perfect. I used Harvest Bazzill cardstock with the Needle Lace paper, Pinking Shears paper and Heirloom paper.
I Believe In You: I started with the Lily Pond Bazzill cardstock for my background and then used the Linen paper and both sides of the Pinking Shears paper. For my embellishments I used both the Bloomers and Stitched Brads. I love these Bloomers and Stitched Brads so much!!
