For this month I chose a Mood Board from Pinterest that screams 'Spring' to me because I'm really looking forward to it with all the cold temps and snow we've been having. I hope it inspires you to create! Please try to 'mostly' use these colors and list what inspired you about the Mood Board. You must also use SEQUINS. If you don't have any sequins let me know.

I was inspired by the colors, the circles, the heart, flowers, alphas. I used a sprinkling of sequins in with the mist.

My example is of DH with youngest grandsons Evan and Travis, Feb. 24th.

Well, good thing these  colors go with snow, cuz that's about all the photos I have for this winter!  Snowing like a banshee here today......so I am LOVING the THOUGHT of spring, if nothing else!!    Your page example is just a delight, with all the colors ,and circles, and fun embellishments.  You are right, it screams SPRING----YAY!    Now if it will just GET here!!!   LOL........

Well my only sequins are aqua, so that's perfect!   Now to find something to use them with... working on GenCon pics so we'll see!  Gorgeous color scheme tho.

Love this mood board. I wish I could be thinking of spring but unfortunately it has been snowing hard all day. DH was snowblowing & it was so deep & heavy our snowblower broke! Thankfully he was able to fix it. He said it's close to 8 inches already out there & the snow is coming down fast & thick.  I'm so tired of winter. Perhaps I'll shop & try to find some sequins to match the board and that will make me feel better.

I'm starting this challenge now and had to tell you a little about my process. I had a terrible day today and came home and just sat in my craft room. I opened up to a blank page in my art journal and just started writing. I got my whole messy, crappy day out in words. Now I'm going to paint over the words and then add some papers that I found with this color pallet. I don't always have the need to keep my thoughts on the page. I just need to get them out. That's what I love about mixed media. I can just cover up my awful day.

Thanks for the challenge and thank you for helping my day get much better. Paper and paint....oh and coffee...what better therapy is that.

I almost forgot the reason why I'm posting this. I just think it's ironic that I'm starting the "mood" board challenge when I was in a bad mood, haa haa.

Ok, here is mine. I was inspired by the lettering and teal, gray and yellow colors. I stamped and misted the background of my art journal pages. I also used book pages, magazine clippings, and stenciled paper I made on my Gelli plate.

I was inspired by the teal/turquoise and yellows and the various size circles.  I did use a couple white sequins with a bit of turquoise glitter glue in their centers too.
The tag was done by an employee at my local Stamp Art store.  they fold over the top of their bags when you make a purchase, punch a hole and using a ribbon, tie one of these hand made tags on each bag for the customer.    It was perfect for the colors on this card.
