How to Use Molds

Molds (AKA moulds) are a tool that I get a lot of questions about how to use. You can create your own unique embellishments using molds! Molds are great for mixed media art, collage, and more to create one-of-a-kind castings for all your art. I’ve created a two-part video all about molds and how to use them in your projects.

In this first video, I will walk you through how to use clay, hot glue, two-part resin, and UV resin in molds.

Now that the casts are made, it is time to paint and personalize them! I am sharing some of my favorite ways to paint and personalize casts from molds.
