About
I started scrapping in January of 2005 when my husband was first deployed to Iraq. My first project was an album of our wedding photos. My mother (hluebner/Bob) has been my biggest inspiration and fan when it comes to this craft. If it weren't for her helpful hand I would not have half the supplies I do today. Now scrapbooking is always on my mind. As I take photos, I imagine how they will look in a layout. On trips and special occasions I snap as many photos of details, people, and moments as I can so I have plenty of options to scrap later.
I generally use scrapbooking as a way to display my photos and to chonicle my family's journey. Recently I have started to take more risks with my journaling and the techniques I use on my pages. It is becoming more art to me now than just a different approach to a photo album.
**Update** Again thanks to my mom - I'm a recent convert to the world of digital scrapping. I always praised it for the convienience, but I had no idea how simple it really is!
