Hi, I’m Tristann and I live Washington State with my husband, Bryan, and our rescued greyhound. I work full-time as a Human Resources manger for a travel company.
I’ve been paper crafting and collecting “memories†all my life. But when a friend introduced me to the new world of scrapbooking in 1999, I was immediately hooked, since it allowed me to combine my love for crafts with my love for preserving my memories. Besides scrapbooking, I love traveling, walking, painting and photography.
I would say I’m a contemporary scrapbooker who changes with the times. I find that the new styles of papers and embellishments really move me and dictate the style and the mood of my designs. Scrapbooking is like music for me. I always have my old favorites, but I’m constantly adding new releases to my collection as well. I work with both paper and digital. I usually create 12 x 12 and 8.5 x 11 size layouts. Besides creating layout pages, I enjoy making altered items, cards, mini albums and other craft projects. I enjoy not only scrapbooking my memories but the challenge of creating paper-based art. I love the fact that my creations not only record what was happening at the time but they allow me to share a piece of myself through my art.
I've been published several times in magazines and books including Scrapbooks, etc.; Memory Makers; Paper Crafts; Scrapbook Trends; Paper Trends; Cantata Books; Memory Makers Books; Stamping, Stationery & Scrapbooking; Scrapbook Dimensions; Scrapbook & Cards Today; Memories Community; PaperKuts; NanC and Company books; and CorrespondenceArt. I’ve served as a featured designer for Bisous, and a guest designer for Dream Street Papers and Adornit Carolee’s Creations. I've also been featured on the LoveToKnow Scrapbooking website. I was extremely honored when I was asked to be a member of the A Cherry On Top Design Team back in March 2004. Over the years I’ve enjoyed sharing new ideas and products with other scrapbookers, the opportunity to make new friends, and being inspired by all the wonderful creations that are shared here at A Cherry On Top.
