I started scrapbooking in September 2005. I was hooked immediately. I love grunge and distressing and anything that looks old. My favorite paper lines are Basic Grey, Tim Holtz and 7 Gypsies. For inspiration, I love Ali Edwards. In October of 2009 I stated getting serious about digi and now, I do almost all digi. I current CT for Merkeley Designs and Sus Designs, and am on E-Scape and Scrap's site ct. I am so thrilled and honored. Eventually I would love to learn how to design my own kits...maybe when I retire from "government work" in about 8 years!
I'm a working Mom with a home-schooled 12 year old and a retired husband to whom I've been married for 30 years. They are awesome and very supportive. I scrap almost every single day.
Occupation: Regional Licensing Administrator for state child welfare agency
Education: BS Ed., MS Ed.
Pets: 2 dogs, Cooper and Keelah; 4 housecats (Sookie, Mischief, Sheldon, Jack-Jack) and a bunch of barn-cats
Favorite music--rock and roll. AC/DC, Aerosmith and Van Halen are still my favorites. Love the Dropkick Murphys.
Favorite color--anything but pink
Favorite food--pizza, pasta and Cherry Garcia ice cream. I would love to be a vegetarian but just can't give up a good burger.
Favorite tv shows--The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Dexter, Justified, both NCISs and Bones. The jury's still on on the new Doctor Who.
Favorite Movies: Boondock Saints, Snatch, The Usual Suspects, Master and Commander: Far Side of the World (I am NOT a girlie GIRL!)
Favorite thing to do to relax: Besides scrap with the house all to myself-- sew or loll on the couch watching a movie.
Favorite phrase: I can't say that HERE!!
Best inventions ever made: Keurig Coffee Makers and Wireless headphones
Hobby: French and Indian War and Revolutionary War Reenacting with the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment of Foot, Grenadier Co'y 1776
No, no more taekwondo, sadly. Had to stop with the red belt because of an injury...I was so close to that black one!! Maybe some day after I get new knees...
